I decided to get a haircut yesterday cause I basically looked like a walking tree with my thick hair and tall body , So I dragged a friend with me after class cause I knew he wanted to get a haircut as well , so we just went to the barber across the uni. The hair cut went well and I really liked the out come of it , nice and smooth from the back and sides with a slight length on the front so that I can actually give it some 'style' , not that I really bother to comb my hair over here , cause I just wear a cap and go out.
Anyways towards the end , the barber saw my face and said that there's a lot of hair beneath my eyes ( I swear it was barely visible to me , but whatever..lol ) so he said it's best to remove it , but I told him that I never want a machine or a blade to touch that area cause I really did not want any thick hair growing there ( a good advice from my father ) , so he said he's use the 'thread' to remove it , and I just backed away and said "WHAT?". why in gods name would I want to be threaded anyways? isnt that for women or something.. cause I remember seeing my mother and sister doing it but never really on a guy. My friend told me that it's really nothing and very normal for guys to thread their face , and that he did it a zillion times before. So then I just asked him if it's painful and he said nah.. and that I wouldnt feel a thing. So I was like.. alright..what the hell , let me give it a go , its just a few hairs anyways and it would only last for a few seconds.
The barber got the thread and then started pulling , and that's when I realized what pain actually is. I shouted out so loud at first and then Just started tearing like crazy while my so called friend was laughing his ass off at me seeing the pain that I was going through..and I was just cussing him out the whole time. True that The thing lasted like just 1 minute but it felt like an eternity of pain.That was the first and last time I pull any hair off my body! my face still hurts a day later and just feels like someone slapped the hell out of me. lol
I just wonder how women do it so often and all over their body. Really amazing. I guess I am just so thankful that I am not a woman. *kisses his hand and thanks the lord*

now does your friend really do it often or was he just making fun?? cuz even I know I've only done it twice in a lifetime. I personally don't think it's necessary unless u've a hairy face...

ehehehe.. sorry, couldn't help it. Now you're gonna have to keep doing it all the time because the hair's gonna grow back faster and thicker everytime.

Nabs the hair doesn't come out quick and it doesn't come out thick..
and its not painfull :p
lol..oh cummon guys.. I know for a fact that it's not THAT bad. plucking it once doesnt mean its going to grow heavily the next time.Now if i shaved it then that's another thing..but pulling it doesnt have a big effect on the growth.

You get used to it man ! I just tear everytime I thread which is like once every three weeks. It's not that painful anymore !

nabhan u remind me with what mel gibson said when he remove his hair in ( what women want) ..may be with time u will be like him and u will listen 2 our inside :)....hey look 2 the positive side of this experience - u start 2 feel the pain of the others and may be u know now how patient women are ...:)

anyways... girls... don't bore the guys out with the woman patience talk... that goes without telling :p ...especially when it comes to looks that is... from what I've seen... a woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do :D
it is however, good to have the experience...

Lol.. u cracked me up.. i told u before its painful.. and under the eyes is the most painful part by the way.. but u'll get used to it.. my husboo threads his face occassionaly above his beard to give himself that smooth look.. and curses everytime he does it lol.!!
