After using a mac at work for almost a year now, I decided to ditch my old PC for the new 13" Macbook, and I have to say that everything about it makes my digital experience so much sweeter. I don't have to deal with any anti virus crap, I don't have to wait a zillion years for it to start up or shut down and it's just so beautiful to look at. I'm not going to go into the specification details cause you can just go to the apple site for that.
All I can say is that I have no idea how I survived before it, and have no idea why other people just don't switch to the mac. People complain that the operating system is so different than that of windows, but it's actually a much better and much smoother operating system without 99% of the bugs you get with your copy of windows.

I've been thinking for a while about getting a Mac, but I already invested in a number of programs that work only on Windows, moving to Mac will mean I have to pay for all my programs again.
I think that I might just bite the bullet though the next time I get a new laptop.
Lucky for me, the office has pretty much all I need for the mac so I didn't face any problems when it came to installing any software I needed, plus I got my mac from fusion in asfoor plaza and they offer you any software you might need along with the purchase.
If all one wants is a computer that simply works, then the Mac is perfect. I've had my MacBook since October 2007. It's been pretty much on, non-stop since the day I bought it except for when I travel. It's fallen from me way too many times to recall. The bezel around the screen has now cracked and there's a chip in the plastic frame near the track pad. But in all these months it has just kept on working. The first ever unexplained crash in which the laptop had to be rebooted was day before yesterday!
