Lately I have been getting alot of crap from some members , well actually I've been getting crap ever since I became an asst.admin over there lol , but anyways..it's been increasing lately. I sometimes wonder , am I wasting my time and energy over there? should I just leave and move on with my life? try something else? join some other place where people appreciate my work more. I have been spending alot of time on deviantart lately in order to escape the pressures of the english sabla (the forum i'm an admin in) and It's always so relaxing and the people are very nice with me over there and of course I treat them the exact same way. I am not sure if comparing the two is fair since the sabla is more 'general' and covers various issues but I just often get very surprised by some members who think that just because I am an admin over there , I should put a shoe in my mouth unless I have something very nice to say and that I have absolutely no right to speak my mind and post my personal opinions.
The other day I actually got a msg from a member acusing me of abusing my admin powers and deleting a personal msg he/she has recieved via the reputation system (vbulletin) to as he/she said 'cover up any evidence' of my being a bad moderator , and after investigating the issue it turned out that while performing my duty in the sabla deleting a post (offtopic) resulted in that msg getting deleted as well. I was so disturbed by this members accusation that I would actually go out of my way to cover up whatever dirty work they think I'm doing. Where do these people get off thinking that they have the right to assume such things about me and accuse me without even asking about what actually happened? and where do these members get off thinking that they have the right to tell me that I have 'attitude' problems just because I am speaking my mind like any other member does? I have my own opinions about different issues and I have every right , admin or not, to express them just like anyone else. If people don't like it then they can politely contact me and tell me what they think but not go on and JUDGE me for it and labeling me with differnt names just because I don't fit their criteria of what an admin should be.
I have spent almost 5 years on this forum and I have done my very best to make it interesting , attractive and I have invested alot of energy in bringing it to the top and helping the members in whatever way I can , but all I can see is that some of those very same members are starting to be very rude and judgmental and are not even appreciating whatever hard work I put into it.
I have so much to say about the crap that people give me for no good reason at all but I'm going to save it for later. This journal..is going to be going on for a while till I get it all out of my system.

Wow..You're that frustrated.. Well, I know I'll be if I were in your shoes, if not more. As a matter of fact, I AM frustrated with the way things are going in the forum. I know it's not easy to tell you "not" to take it seriously..I mean sure it's only internet, but I understand the time/effort/emotions you have invested, to be unappreciated in the end. Nabs, just don't forget the ones who do :). And Im pretty sure they exceed those who find it their day's purpose is to ruin yours!

Anyways to you; you've every right to say what you want, speak your mind, and do whatever members have a right to do, after all you're essentially a member. However, being an admin makes you a member with a greater responsibility, people look up to you. People will pick on you if you do something you ought not to; for you are supposedly a sabla role model. Therefore, this limits what you can say and what you can't. You can't just attack a member or cause a spark, then justify it by saying you're a memeber like every other; because you're not. You're different, you've powers and you've enemies. All in all this only requires that you act maturely and don't let emotions get in the way.
In addition, if you're convinced whatever you're doing is right, then heck with the rest? why does it bother you?
Anyways, your contribution to the sabla is very much appreciated and I am sure it wouldn't be the same with out you.

most ironically I sense a much more noticeable sinsitivity right here in you, lol... otherwise I barely believe you'd be that fathee to go opening a whole blog and making a scene like this... oh man... lol... you should seriously get a life...
lym : It bothers me because I don't think that most members realize how much work I put into the forum. I might be a 'role model' to some...but I certainly want to be able to post my thoughts normally as well without being judged by it.

people are people but they're mad on internet they think they can do all what they want, even insult other person :s ..
i agree with calkoon .. IGNOR them one of my friends call them "low-life" LOL ;)
