Prime. 8.5/10
For the first time I wasn't really annoyed by Uma Thurman (I am not a fan of her acting , except in pulp fiction maybe?) and I actually liked her a bit more thanks to this movie..but I have to say the reason I actually decided to watch this is cause I LOVE meryl Streep..she's just an amazing actress who brings so much life and warmth to her characters and so her role in this movie is no different and I actually found myself laughing so hard from some of her reactions to the stuff Uma Thurman's character was saying during her therapy sessions.
The movie is basically about a woman at the peak of her life who recently got out of a marriage falling for a guy whom she later discovers is only 23 years old ( she's 37 years old in the movie) and while discussing the situation with her therapist who actually encourages her to venture out and live her life to the max , proceed with this relationship and have some fun of her own. The Therapist later on figures out after a few sessions that it's actually her son that her patient is dating and well , you can probably imagine where it goes on from there.
I really liked this movie cause it was a bit different than the rest of the stuff that's been comming out lately and I was really in need for a light comedy that actually had some heart into it. I would certainly recomend it to anyone who is into light and heartfelt comedies.

On another note , I got so sick of waiting for movies to arrive over here in Jordan so I just went on and started downloading a bunch of the ones I've been waiting for and of course I make sure they're in good quality cause I can never watch a cinema capture of a movie. I downloaded Transamerica as well and I am currently in the process of downloading DVD screeners of Brokeback mountain and Munich.

anyone who does watch it before us do tell whether the hassle of having these punks around me is worth it :p (kiddin)... it'll be my pleasure :D
Hey Nabs, How's it going buddy? Thankx for the heads up on the movie but seriously from the ads on television about it I wouldn't think twice about seeing it! Uma Thurman needs to get her act together; ever since the poor lady's got divorced she's been on the down low! I have to agree with you on Meryl Streep though she's pretty cool (for her age that is) but the guy Bryan Green..sth is actually the best thing in the movie from my opinon, he's a hottie! I saw him in "The Perfect Score" and he was actually good (never mind the movie suckx big time but thats besides the point:)...Anyways keep it up with the blog! Recommend listening to 3 doors down- Let me go
