New year celebration?

Everyone over here is starting to talk about how they're going to celebrate the new year while being all excited and hyped up about it and I just look at them and think.. umm.. okay.. you people probably have a reason to be hyped up and excited about it since this is your country and you have your friends and family over here to celebrate with ( err..but then again the Jordanians I know don't really like hanging out with their family!) so anyways they have people to celebrate the new year with. My brother has been bugging me about it and asking me what we're gonna do and I just don't have an answer cause I just don't feel like doing anything. I personally think that this is a time where you're supposed to have your family and close friends around you to really feel the joy of starting a new year and since I don't have either one over here it's just another day passing by except that it ends up feeling depressing instead of being happy , but I guess for my brother's sake I might have to find something and somewhere to go.

If I really had a choice I'd just stay home and draw or design something.

Speaking of designing , I came up with two new designs in one day. I was just experimenting with a program called 'apophysis' and this is what I came up with when I combined the results with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator:
