I finished working on it around 7:30 so then I just ran to my first lecture feeling all sleepy and tired so I decided to sit at the back of the class in case I dozed off thinking that it would be fine especially since the professor of my 'Artistic studies' class doesnt really know that I even exist , or so I thought. So for the first half an hour i was listening and had my book open and following through but then i got sleepy so i just closed my book and slept , only to hear him call my name after 5 minutes of sleeping , and i was like what the hell.. how in gods name did he know my name? I REALLY thought that he didnt even know who I was. Everyone in the class went silent and were just looking at me while i was still in shock. He then asked me to read from the book but i had it closed and didnt know exactly what to read...so I told him that i was 'lost' (yes i used that word) and he just looked at me and said 'of course you are' with a sarcastic look..and moved on. It was a little embarrasing but funny at the same time.
After that I headed to my other class 'Graphics 2' which is the class I made the assignment for and that went better than i expected , and even though the professor was very 'thrilled' about my work , he still said that it was a good effort and just needs some fixes here and there , but yeah.. wait .. b4 all that he decided to give us a 45 minute lecture on how bad smoking is and actually even demonstrated it by lighting a cigarette ( he doesnt smoke ) and blowing the smoke on a white piece of paper , and after 3 puffs on that paper , it actually made a hole in it. He then looked at me and showed me the hole and I looked at him and told him that I don't even smoke so he's wasting his time showing it to me , he then smiled and said in a loud voice to the whole class 'see this is a guy with will power!'. errr.. okay.. thank you but that was really unnecessary professor...and hello..this is a GRAPHIC DESIGNING CLASS.
A day in university can be really weird.

And I think that smoking paper example is quite interesting, maybe you can ask some of the smoking friends around to try it out and see their reaction, if there is any.

I know my relative would barely react to that demonstration... I bet you anything he would stand and clap as if I've just practiced a magic show. No point!
Reminded me of my course in India. The projector was ON, the lights were OFF & the room was just that cold! Giving you all the way to sleep! :p

Hehe, Nabhan, I thought I was the only one who fell asleep in classes, I sleep at least once in any class I attend monthly. And, Yes teachers get mad, but what can I do,,i am tired.
One Time I slept and when I woke up..most of the class was gone, and the teacher was looking at me. :).
