I am just a sentimental person and I treasure almost everything I have. I even find it hard sometimes to throw away a peice of tissue that reminds me of a place , or a person I care about. The other day I found this ticket stub in one of my jeans , and even though it was practically washed out and you can barely read the details on it , I just couldn't throw it away cause It reminded me of the good time i spent in oman with a friend...and so I just kept it in my drawer lol.
The point of this whole post is that I don't get how can a person delete their blog just like that out of the blue. I could never do that , cause I feel that what's written in my blog is part of me and my history , and You just cant delete your history. I would understand if a person decided to stop blogging out of the blue , but deleting it seems a little too much to me.
A while back a friend told me that he/she deleted his/her blog , and I just got really sad cause ( which ended up making that person feel bad about what he/she did ) and even thought It wasnt my intention to make him/her feel bad , I couldnt help but express it and make him/her know what he/she did wasnt really the right thing to do.
Anyways , I realised recently that most of those who delete their blogs decided suddenly that they don't want people reading their personal thoughts , thoughts that they let out in a moment of weekness. If that's a case then you're in the wrong place and blogging just isn't for you. Buy a notebook and write your thoughts there so that no one other than yourself would read it. Otherwise just dont get personal on your blog unless you really dont mind others reading it.
In the end , I think when it comes to the net world , It's best to not wash your dirty laundry in public.

Nabs, I totally agree on you with this .. I just dont understand why a person would delete thier history .. its part of you .. people already read what you said, so you should just learn to move and if you want to change something, change it from day on.
Plus, I dont think people own thier blogs .. yes, they have some certain controls but thier blogs have created a crowd who care about them and like to read them .. they should care about those people too.
I dont know, maybe I am a sensetive person .. but before I take a harsh decision like deleting a blog, I think of 100 issues and considerations.
You see Nabs, sometimes ppl do things in spare of moment without thinking and without realizing. Such things can not be helped.. And they might only realize that what they did is wrong after doing the thing. so don't blame them.
But you should also know that those ppl who do this dont' do it without a reason, deep inside them there is always a reason ;)
Arby, who said that the history is being deleted? they can always save what they wrote in a word pad ;)

Its possible that they move blogs around. I manage a number of blogs, dating back to like 2003. They're all still there, but I have different blogs available to different eyes :)

Hey, everyone has a reason for what they do. Its not fair to call them names or make unfair judgments on their character. We should respect eachothers' decisions no matter what they are!
