Happy Now..
I illustrated this little piece when I was feeling a bit down last week when I came back to Jordan and every time I look at it I feel better and it puts a smile on my face. I was thinking what could be the best way for ME to illustrate the idea of 'going to a happy place' and I immediately got the image of a balloon flying away to an unknown place because as many of you know I have always been fascinated by balloons when I was a kid and they always made me REALLY happy so that's basically how this idea came to reality and I have to say that it's one of my favorite illustrations to date even though it took me less than an hour to complete.
On a side note, thanks to everyone who keeps visiting and commenting, I assure you even though I don't reply to your comments all the time, I surely read every single one.
Hope everyone out there is in a great and happy place in their lives.

I hope you don't mean "Heaven" when you say "going to a happy place". After all, the balloon goes up and up and up...that's beside the point anyways.
I like simple illustrations, they say so much more. Remember, Less is more ;)
Simple, but has a cool idea behind it. Weird lym hopes it isnt heaven in the end. Heaven as a target is absolutely perfect...
haha, I don't think she meant it that way atgm. I think what lym is saying that she doesn't hope that I have thoughts of wanting to die or something like that, Which I don't of course, I have too many goals to accomplish inshallah b4 that happens.
that is why what she said doesn't make sense. Anyway, to the happy Ballon all the way :P
