Yes I know I haven't blogged in a long time but I've been such a lazy ass ever since I came back to Oman for holidays. Anyways..I've been wanting to blog about my new gaming console ever since I bought it around 2 weeks ago. I think it's the best thing I bought all year long, even better than the ipod, or wait..nah I love them both equally actually.
Anyways..I have mentioned several times on this blog that I wanted to get the Nintendo DS ever since it came out and I finally got around it and got myself one. Sadly they didn't have the white one which is the color I was after but the light blue one looks cool too. The main reason I wanted this was to play the 'New super mario bros' Game because I am a huge Mario fan and I have to say that I was not dissapointed at all with it..it's the best game I played since Nintendo 64's 'Banjo Tooie' Which is probably my all time fav game to date.
I already finished the game except, well almost finished, I beat the last boss but I still have a few more star coins to collect in some stages (star coins are different than the normal coins we're used to seeing in mario games) but at least I am done with all the bosses and I did it all on my own (okay fine I cheated a little bit when I got stuck in some stages by checking online walkthroughs) but who cares I did most of it on my own. lol
Anyways..My best friend got me the Castlevania (which I was planning on buying anyways but he surprised me with it) game a few days ago so now I have another game to keep me busy..woohoo.
If you don't have a Nintendo DS yet and you're in need of some good entertainment then go and get one a.s.a.p..it's better than the PSP a million times thanks to its super cool touch screen feature. I bought mine for 70 rials from the shop downstairs in Sabco center...you'll probably find it cheaper in other shops but I couldn't bother looking around.

DS has better RPG games than PSP. *activates geek mosde* What I like about DS is the dual screen feature, awesome. Like you can see the map in other screen for example. I saw my friend playing Castlevania, looks very good. *deactivates geek mode*
I'll buy it if I make up my mind between it and the PSP. Still didn't and thats actually whats delaying it. =D
finally we got a new post out of you??!!
im a huge fan of the mario clan. i remember i couldnt sleep at night without finishing off super mario world on my gameboy. that phase lasted at least six months.
since now im a bit bored with my ipod, maybe this will be my next gadget!!!
welcome back nabs
snook: more RPGs??... that's a green sign for me!!
Nabs: that looks inviting!!! I'm just wondering about one thing there is with nintendo that there isn't with the playstation consoles... the games tend to be expensive in nintendo...
how much did the DS mario games cost?
Tee: The cost varies between 14 - 20 rials depending on how much you argue with them and where you buy it. So far I got the mario for 15 rials which is not bad.
You should get Brain Training! It should be cheaper than other games and it will really show you all the unique features of the DS. New Super Mario Bros and Castlevania are my two most favourite games on the DS!!
