Thoughts about blogging and bloggers..

- I was browsing a few blogs today and I couldn't help but feel that some people are taking it way too seriously. People quiting cause they're 'tired' or feel un-appreciated or whatever. I don't like going to a blog i usually visit only to find that the owner 'quit' and not only did that person quit but they also disabled the comments on that last post. It's like saying bye and shutting the door in your face. Sorry to those who did it but I just find it rude.

- This whole talk about Omani blogs not being serious or not wanting to talk about stuff going on in the country seems a little silly to me. So what if people only want to talk about music , or display their art or talk about some personal events going on in their lives. I personally love the blogs that are more personalized than those that copy and paste an article and expect people to comment on it and give out their thoughts. We already have forums for that. Get personal..or even emotional in your blog..at least you'd seem like a human being and not just another page on the net. I can read the news elsewhere thank you very much.

- People should stob bugging others to update (I think that some are gonna hate me for this!) but blogging should be done when the person feels like saying something not cause he/she is pressured to do so to keep his/her audience interested. I sometimes felt the pressure of having to keep my blog alive cause i thought that the people who regularly come here would end up getting bored cause of the lack of updates..but then made a decision to only blog if i have something to say or display.

- hmm.. yeah.. I guess that's it for now. *runs away*
