Shakira's second album of 2005 , Oral fixation vol:2 is somewhat dissapointing. The lyrics are quite good and It's nice that she's trying to experiment with different sounds other than the usual eastern or latin beats she often uses but she shouldn't have drifted too far from her latin and arabic roots which most people enjoyed and was actually the best thing about her music. We can find here a blend of rock and electronic sounds that don't always suit or compliment her voice , like on the first single 'Don't bother' I feel that she can't really carry on with the tune.. which is a big turn off and probably the reason the single isn't doing so well for her on the charts.
She should have included some songs that sounded like her biggest hits 'Whenever , wherever' and 'la tortura'. But she shouldn't really worry if this is going to be big or not , as she already had huge success with her spanish album earlier this year so I guess she can afford to experiment a little for now.

I forced myself to listen to the end...they were already bad enough... if there's anything worse spare my ears ...
her voice is the same but the song itself sux...
and what's with the children in timor?... doesn't match her..lol... oh well.. I wish her better luck next time...
well I guess you shouldn't bother with the rest of the album cause the other songs are even worse than those two..at least in my opinion.
