I am currently in Oman! lol
well my father decided to be a bit generous this year and asked my brother and I to come back home for Eid and told us to not tell my mother or my siblings that we're comming back so that it would be a surprise for them and so we did just that. we arrived home yesterday morning , around 2 a.m and my mother heard the car and so when we came in the door all I hear was a big happy shout 'heyyyy.. you're here for eid' ( in arabic of course ) and i looked up only to see my mother ( god bless her soul ) she was very happy to see us back home especially after a month of the house being relatively empty.
My older brother and Sister came later on in the morning while i was still asleep and woke me up by laughing and yelling 'you're here'! lol .. it was just really nice...especially since I have not spent an eid in oman for over 2 years now so this was just lovely. Of course we spent the rest of the day visiting relatives whom were all just as surprised to see us in Oman especially those whom are really close to us.
The day was just great and all I have to do now is figure out what I'm going to do with all the money I got as 'Eidiyya'. Maybe the new iPod? :p though I'm leaning more towards the Nintendo DS cause I saw this brilliant new Mario game. hmm.. will see. :p ...

It was only after I saw you Eid morning that it suddenly hit me that you're not supposed to be here. Nice surprised from your dad. Cool.
As for your eidiya, buy something you don't have. If you already have a Creative mp3 player and you're happy with it what do you need an iPod for. Go for the Nintendo or a PSP.
Besides the iPod won't play all your OGG songs and you'll have to convert all of them.

muscati: I always convert my Ogg files to mp3s after downloading them..so that wont be an issue for me..though u're right about getting something i dont have. I will most likely get the Nintendo DS.. still didnt fully make up my mind about it though.
