Email Forwards..

My brother wanted to use the internet the other day to check his so called 'mail', and all I saw him doing was checking hundreds of forwards and spent over an hour reading and going through them.

It really got on my nerves cause I've always hated those email forwards and have asked my friends to never send them to me cause I just wont bother reading them...which resulted in me being out of the fwd loop for years now (thank god for that!). Even when I do get them by mistake I usually just delete the whole thing without even opening it.

Why would I want to read a forward that is basically full of crap or rumors ( which I really don't appreciate ) , or wait , those so called islamic ones that ask you to send the email to 10 of your friends and you will be 'blessed' or 'immuned'. I'd have to admit that those can really crack me up , but they mostly actually disgust me and just make me wanna throw a rock at my screen.

I think that the most interesting thing is that there are many people out there who actually go through all the hassle of reading them and then sending them to their friends and sometimes even share them on forums..and is probably their only real activity on the net.

I think all I'm trying to say here is that it's just weird what some people enjoy doing.

I'd agree most of the time fwd are just a waste, though sometimes some are quite interesting.

Used to get them... still do sometimes.... well as soon as I do get them anyway... the tick and delete buttons'll surely be clicked in no time... they suck... and they're annoying, especially when I'm expecting an important email... arrgh
