A sample of Madonna's new single 'Hung Up' premiered 2 days ago with the launch of Motorolla's New iTunes phone. This track is the first song off her Highly anticipated all dance record 'Confessions on a dancefloor' which is due November 9th based on the Amazon.com Listing.
I listened to the one minute sample yesterday and It was a bit weird at first , but slowly , just like most of her first singles , started growing on me and then it got stuck in my head and I can't seem to get it out now! I really like the background music , it's definitely new to madonna , but it has Stuart Price's ( The producer of the song ) Signature all over it. It's also supposed to feature a sample of Abba's 'Gimme Gimme' but I wouldnt know what exactly the sample is since I did not really listen to that specific Abba song before, but I will be checking it out soon.
The ringtone version of the song will be out This month before the official single gets released , cause warner music wants the song to be a success on every U.K and U.S chart format.
Anyways , I am still not sure whether I like it or not , It's still too soon for me to decide cause the sample isnt in very good quality and only features the chorus bit , so I will have to wait to hear the full and clear version of it to decide.

Dude the background music is entirely Abba's Gimme, Gimme, Gimme. On first listen I kept singing Abba's lyrics and I couldn't concentrate on what Madonna was saying because whatever she was singing wouldn't sync with the music, at least not in my brain.
Search for Abba's song and listen to it.
Okay I just listened to the Abba song and yeah.. the entire background in the sample is taken from it. I hope the rest of it isnt a total rip off as well. But I think madonna's vocals fits it nicely.
