I just finished watching Bjork's 1999 music video for her single 'all is full of love' after downloading it. I watched it many times b4 but I just couldn't help but fall in love with it all over again this time around. The whole thing is just amazingly put together , and bjork as a robot? how cool is that.. despite the fact that by the end of the clip she ends up making out with herself... which actually looks pretty cool too. lol
The whole dark image and concept of the video is just amazing ..and really blends well with the lyrics of the song which goes on something like this :

I'd have to say that this video is probably one of my all time faves.
The music video was directed by 'Chris Cunnigham' who also amazingly directed one of Madonna's most brilliant music videos 'Frozen'.. another one of my all time faves. He was also the one who designed the Alien characters for The last alien movie 'Alien: Resurrection' and worked on the Alien effects on 'Alien 3'.

That "Frozen" video was something! I loved it!
If you like Chris Cunningham you can buy a DVD with his videos all together. The ones he did with Aphex Twin are whole other level. I think some of them are available on ifilm.com. They're just weird.
This Bjork video is excellent. But Bjork's videos are always original and amazing.
This video is 5 years before iRobot. They ripped it off, not the other way around.
I also loved his Aphex twin videos and yeah..I read about his dvd release. I might just download the videos though.. I'm not really big on dvd music videos.
I also agree that Bjork's videos are always really excellent. I watched her pagan poetry music video today for the first time cause it was banned from television for its explicit content ( she's topless and has pearls sewn into her nipples :os ) a little disturbing but the song makes up for it.
And as muscati said..all is full of love's music video came way b4 I robot.
Talking about the song "All is full of love", I liked it! I kept on repeating it all the night.
